Air jet looms are shuttleless looms that use jet air to draw weft yarn through the shed. The working principle is to use air as the weft insertion medium, draw the weft yarn with the friction traction generated by the compressed air jet, bring the weft yarn through the shed, and achieve the purpose of weft insertion through the jet generated by air jet. This weft insertion method can make the loom realize high speed and high yield. Among several shuttleless looms, air-jet loom is the one with the highest speed. Due to the reasonable weft insertion mode, high weft insertion rate, simple and safe operation, wide variety adaptability, low material consumption, high efficiency, high speed and low noise, it has become one of the most promising new looms. Because the air-jet loom adopts the air weft method, the biggest disadvantage is the high energy consumption.
